I am a percussionist and handpan player, and have been involved in building handpans for the past couple of years. I set up We Need Music CIC with my wife Laura last year, with my main project being Pankind. We work in a wide variety of educational and therapeutic settings, and my main work to date has been leading percussion and handpan sessions at a local pupil referral unit. Our mission is to create accessible music making and interactive listening opportunities aimed at connecting people; enabling creativity and expression; and building self esteem and confidence.
