Community Music Everywhere: 2019-2023

As a result of over 12 month consulting with our membership and working with our board of trustees, we are pleased to announce Sound Sense's latest corporate plan, Community Music Everywhere. The plan has particular focus on professional development and networking opportunities for professional community musicians. The plan comes into effect in January 2019 and will run for four years.

Sound Sense Equality & Diversity Policy

Last updated 2018.

Community music enables people’s active and creative participation in music-making. By description it happens in all types of community where it reflects the context in which it takes place; and it is concerned with putting equal opportunities into practice. As the UK professional association for community music, Equality and Diversity are therefore central to our organisation and the practice it promotes.
