This 4 hour training session is aimed at people who would like to know more about how to create, set up and fundraise for their own community arts project.
What will be covered:
· How to create and set up your own project - the logistics
· Helpful tools you can use to aid project management and coordination
· The basics of writing a funding application
What you will need:
Notepad and pen
It will be useful for you to bring a laptop/tablet to complete the practical activities
This training will be led by Meldra Guza. Meldra Guza is a music professional specialising in music business, portfolio careers and entrepreneurial creativity. She is the managing director of The SongLab in Birmingham, as well as Senior Lecturer at BIMM Birmingham. Meldra is very passionate about supporting emerging professionals in their quest to uncover their unique potential and ways to multiply their revenue streams for sustainable careers in arts.
