About me/us:

I offer training in working with neurodiverse people of all ages to community musicians, teachers, carers and allied health professionals. I have specialised in music and autism for 22 years as a trainer and visiting lecturer and continue to move with all the latest attitudes and constant new knowledge in this area. I also offer training in working with music in mental health settings for musicians and non musicians and health workers. This includes training in group-work on secure wards. As both practising music therapist (hcpc registered) and community musician, I understand where both disciplines run parallel and also where they intersect. I am a qualified neurologic music therapist (NMT) and utilise this specialist area with neurodivergent groups - often in combination with speech & language therapists or physiotherapists and OTs. I bring this into the training I offer in an experiential, fun and creative way.
