Jess Abrams is the Chair of Sound Sense. She is also a musician, community music practitioner and educator working primarily with young people, many of whom had challenging experiences in their lives. Jess also lectures at Edinburgh College in Community Music and Music Education as well as facilitates training in developing community music practice. She holds an MSc in Music in the Community from University of Edinburgh, but was a practitioner long before that!
