Musicians and Brexit report launched
Date posted: 31 July 2018
The Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM), co-founder of FreeMoveCreate, has launched a report this morning in Westminster on Musicians and Brexit

The report illustrates the vital importance of continued freedom of movement for working musicians and is targeted at supporting our collective FreeMoveCreate campaign.

Based on survey data from over 1,600 musicians, the findings show that more than 40% of musicians have noticed an impact on their work as a result of Brexit, up from 19% in 2016. 39% of musicians travel to the EU more than five times a year, often at short notice, and EU work is an integral part of their income. The report calls on the Government to reach an agreement with the EU27 as soon as possible to protect freedom of movement for musicians and other artists.

Please do share the report far and wide and encourage people to support the campaign at www.FreeMoveCreate.org
