Bristol Beacon is home to the award-winning music education hub for the city of Bristol. As part of Creative Learning and Engagement (CLE) our Music Hub ensures that all children, whether in schools or community settings, can access and take part in high-quality musical activities.

The Whole Class and Progression Lead is responsible for leading and developing progression, particularly in Whole Class (WCET) pathways to music education in and out of schools across Bristol, maintaining quality, efficiency and developing talent development opportunities. The role will lead on training and supporting Music Practitioners in schools and other settings with best practice pedagogy through a comprehensive and inclusive CPD framework and training programme with the aim of retaining and attracting a talented music practitioner workforce.

Part time, 22.5 hours
Salary: £38,850, pro-rata, £23,625.00 per annum
