The Village Singers is a well-established group which meets on a Thursday morning during term time. There are c. 45 members and they sing a wide range of material. There are no auditions, no previous musical experience is needed to join, and the group does not use sheet music.
The Village Singers is one of 19 singing groups run by the Kent based charity Living Lively which was formed following a 2010 Randomised Control Trial into the health benefits of singing for people over 50.
