We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Publishing Manager to lead the delivery of our music publishing and learning content.
This role is central to ensuring our music content (including songs, arrangements, recordings, and teaching resources) is delivered to a high standard, from commissioning through to publication.
About the role
As Publishing Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of music publishing and learning content, ensuring work is planned, coordinated, and delivered effectively and efficiently across teams.
You’ll:
Translate content and publishing strategy into clear delivery plans.
Manage workflows across music production, editorial, and digital publishing.
Coordinate contributors and partners.
Act as final editorial sign-off for the majority of published content.
You’ll work closely with editors, digital, marketing, and partnerships colleagues, as well as songwriters, composers, arrangers, engineers, and a variety of external partners.
This is a collaborative role combining project management, editorial quality assurance, and music publishing expertise, ensuring content is delivered on time, to an excellent standard, and aligned with organisational priorities.
Salary and benefits: Full time equivalent £40,000 per annum, generous holiday allowance, and other benefits.
Contract type: Permanent, Full time 37.5 hours p/w (0.8, 30 hours per week considered)
Location: UK-wide. Depending on location, either fully remote homeworking, or hybrid working (home and office based) when in proximity to Sing Up’s Gateshead office.
