This is a fixed term 12 month part-time contract, 14 hours per week.
Make Some Noise’s vision is that music empowers every child and young person with self-belief to the change their world for the better. The Make Some Noise Programmes Team is developing and delivering a range of flagship programme tackling a poverty of opportunities for children and young people (and their families).
We are looking for a Programme Coordinator who is a highly organised and pioneering individual, experienced in coordinating community projects. Being a musician is not vital to this role; but championing the importance of music-making is.
Some key responsibilities:
- To devise planned activity against project action plans and budgets for thematic priority ensuring the charity’s vision, mission and values are considered in all aspects of work
- To coordinate freelance Music Leaders in the delivery of workshop content that ensures all beneficiaries are supported to develop personal, social, and musical skills, aligned to aims and outcomes, Make Some Noise vision and mission and the charity’s values and behaviours
- Supervising music leaders to ensure the highest quality in delivery, contractual requirements met, pastoral needs supported and then recommend CPD and/or implement improvements, supported by the Head of Operations and Programmes
- Liaising with stakeholders, Music Leaders/Freelancers, and other staff, to ensure that workshops run efficiently and achieve outcomes/outputs/values and behaviours
