This is a full time permanent position.

We are currently recruiting for a Producer for MAC Makes Music who will work closely with the CEO and Artistic Director to research, plan, oversee and manage the producing, partnership and stakeholder relationships involved in the creation, development and delivery of the MAC Makes Music programme.

MAC Makes Music is an award-winning programme providing innovative music making opportunities for children and young people with limited access to music provision. As the Producer for MAC Makes Music you will leave on the provision of high-quality music making experiences led by a team of highly experienced musicians and champion innovation in music making approaches, support workforce development and advocate for equality, equity, diversity, and inclusion within music education.

Essential criteria (not complete list):

• A passion and commitment to developing Equality, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion within community music/music education
• Have at least three years’ experience of working with children and young people in an arts, education, support service or community led context or through significant freelance capacity. This should include experience of developing and managing participatory activity in music
• Knowledge of the music education and community music sectors
• A proven track record in coordinating and evaluating imaginative learning or development led programmes or activities for young people
