Vacancy: Musinc Mentee (Inclusive Orchestra) Self employed

Thursdays, 4.30pm – 6pm at Middlesbrough Town Hall
Rate of pay: £22.50 weekly rehearsal fee (£15 per hour delivery), £15 per hour meeting fee
Activity Term dates: Summer Term 2026 (11 sessions): 23rd, 30th April; 7th, 14th, 21st May; 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th June; 2nd, 9th July.

We are looking for a d/Deaf, Disabled or Neurodivergent musician aged 18-30 to take part in a year-long mentoring programme (April 2026 – March 2027). This mentorship is an opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and understanding of musically inclusive practice while working with an orchestra of young adults.

Expected time commitment: up to 2.5 hours per week
