The Music Workshop Company will celebrate it’s 20th anniversary in September 2022 and is now looking to develop it’s database of freelance musicians.

We are seeking freelance music workshop facilitators who will design and run workshops in schools and other settings following client briefs.

Essential capabilities include:

• Experience in designing and delivering participatory music sessions in schools, particularly world percussion, composition, improvisation and singing workshops
• Excellent communication skills to be able to work with a wide range of participants
• Adaptability in order to tailor the workshop experience to the client and participants’ needs

Recent DBS and Public Liability required.

Access to instruments for use in workshops desirable.

Fees
Work is offered on a freelance basis. Projects paid at £150 for a half day (up to 3 hours morning or afternoon) or £290 for a whole day – this fee includes planning, set up and workshop time plus supplying instruments where required. Travel at 45p per mile.
