Manchester Camerata is an orchestra and registered charity, working and performing in Manchester and worldwide since 1972. Be it opening Glastonbury festival in front of 40,000 people or working intimately in care homes with people living with dementia through our Music in Mind programme, we believe in the transformative and connecting nature of music.

We are interested in hearing from Music Therapists who have experience of:

• using a keyboard or guitar to lead workshops;
• working in residential care settings;
• interacting with people living with dementia;
• working with groups;
• supporting health and social care staff to get involved in basic music making.

There is no requirement for a specific way of leading improvisation or music making with participants; we will provide training and shadowing opportunities for interested candidates to give them necessary experience of our Music in Mind principles and techniques.
