Music Leader (Drums)
Location: Middlesbrough

Musinc is looking for an enthusiastic music leader to deliver inclusive and high-quality music making activities to children and young people, including those facing barriers. Activities involve small group drum tuition and band-based tuition, working with a Junior group of ages 7-11 and a Senior group of ages 12-17.
This is a self-employed position, reporting to the Musinc Project Coordinator. The music leader will work in conjunction with Musinc project management staff, project partners and other self-employed music practitioners.
Session Times: Tuesdays, Juniors: 4.45pm-5.45pm and Seniors: 6pm-7pm
Activity Term dates: Spring Term 2026 (11 sessions): 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th January; 3rd, 10th, 17th February; 3rd, 10th, 17th March + Amplify (end of term event) on 24th March.
Rate of pay: £100 weekly fee (£40/hour delivery)
Musinc’s rates of pay include time for session planning and weekly set up / pack down of equipment, in addition to delivery within the hours stated above. Due to the high volume of equipment needed for this session we expect facilitators to arrive at 4.15pm.
This position is self-employed, and contracts will be awarded until March 2026, with the opportunity to extend.
