Soundcastle seeks to recruit a part-time Music Facilitator for our London programmes - both Musical Beacons (inclusive family music-making programme) and People’s Music
(music-making for mental health).

Main Purpose of Role: To deliver weekly Musical Beacons and People’s Music Sessions in London in collaboration with the London Soundcastle team.
The sessions to be delivered are:
? 2 Musical Beacons open community large group sessions for families (Tuesday
morning and Tuesday afternoon).
? Musical Beacons individual and group sessions for families with very young
disabled/neurodivergent children (Tuesday daytime/Wednesday morning).
? 1 People’s Music adult band session (Friday mornings).

Team Members: You will work closely with Soundcastle Creative Director Gail Macleod, your Co-facilitator Lila Bhattacherjee and our Programmes Coordinator, Wallis Leahy. You will also work with our wider core and creative teams based in Hastings and working across Sussex.

Salary: £32,760 FTE (Pro rata for 17 hours per week/ 38 weeks per year. Total: £11,781).
