The Marketing Team is responsible for the promotion and advocacy of all Bristol Beacon activities. As well as being responsible for Bristol Beacon’s brand and undertaking all day to day press and marketing needed to sell Bristol Beacon’s shows, commercial hire opportunities, and promote Bristol Beacon’s learning and engagement programmes, the Marketing team also play a key role in helping to set customer service standards, monitor and conduct audience research and market insight and advocate for Bristol Beacon in the city and beyond.

The Marketing and Communications Officer will support the work of the team, with responsibility for running multi-channel marketing and communications campaigns, creating print and digital assets, and helping to develop Bristol Beacon’s marketing insights.

The role will be particularly focussed on supporting our Creative Learning and Engagement team on our programmes of music education with the young people of Bristol, as well as numerous community programmes such as our Arts and Health work.

The role would suit a marketing professional, ideally with experience in the arts, education or music industry. You will have good writing skills, experience of CMS systems, an understanding of social media and ideally a passion for music. The successful candidate will bring a professional, adaptable, and proactive attitude and be part of a dynamic and innovative team, working as part of a vibrant arts organisation.
