This is an opportunity for 3 young creatives to work as freelancers for Soundplay Projects over 9 months. Day rate of £150.

Soundplay Projects SCIO is an arts charity led by artists Bal Cooke and Ewan Sinclair. We design and make accessible, inclusive, installations, events, objects and projects with disabled and non-disabled people. We make and work with physical objects (instruments), sound, music and light to make music and art with other people. We weave together these multi-sensory modes of communication through the innovative use of technology, tactile materials and lots of experimentation and play with the young people we work with.

Soundplay Projects have an opportunity for 3 young creatives aged 18-25 years old (or up to age 30 if they identify as d/Deaf, Disabled or Neurodivergent) as part of their Youth Music UK, Industry Connect Project. Industry Connect helps grassroots organisations in their work supporting young creatives towards sustainable careers in the music and wider creative industries.
This is an exciting and flexible opportunity that can be tailored to individual applicants' ideas, interests and ambitions. An individually focused package of support will be created for each successful applicant including work experience, training and mentorship.

Each role is a freelance contract running from June 2025 - March 2026, with a total of 25 days at a day rate of £150.
