Evolve Music is looking for an inspiring and strategic leader to guide the charity into its next chapter.
Hours: 37 hours per week, flexible working hours, 0:8 role considered
Salary: £44,000 - £48,000 depending on experience
Since 2017, we have grown into a leading community music organisation in the South West, using music to bring joy, confidence and connection to thousands of children, young people, families and adults. From Sound Lab for neurodivergent young people, to Dads Rock for fathers and male caregivers, to Sound Explorers for children with additional needs, our programmes show the power of music to change lives.
As our new Executive Director, you will:
Provide strategic, financial and operational leadership.
Lead fundraising and income generation, working closely with our Data & Funding Officer.
Manage and support our programme and talented delivery team.
Champion Evolve’s impact locally, regionally and nationally.
Work in partnership with health, education and cultural organisations to expand our reach and sustainability.
We are seeking someone who brings:
Experience of leading an organisation, programme or department.
A successful track record in fundraising and income generation.
Strong financial and governance skills.
Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
Knowledge of participatory music/arts, creative health, or education sectors.
