About the role
DMLab is a programme which brings together Disabled and Non-Disabled musicians with technologists and makers. Our regular existing DMLab events in London and Manchester are spaces to exchange practices and explore new accessible instruments.
We have recently received funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to expand the programme to Bristol, Gloucester, Colchester and Hull. The funding will also support an annual DMLab festival to celebrate the work that done across all the locations. To oversee this expansion, we are recruiting a DMLab National Coordinator.
The National Coordinator will lead on the overall management of the programme. This includes but is not limited to:
Acting as the main point of contact for partners, who will deliver events in our new locations.
Directly managing events and freelance facilitators in London and Manchester.
Coordinating our Accessible Instrument Development seed funding grant programme.
Coordinating the annual DMLab Festival supported by the wider Drake Music team.
