This is a permanent part-time role on a fixed-term contract, 28 hours per week and job shares are a possibility. It is open to Disabled applicants only.
We are looking for an experienced Disabled leader to join our team. We use the word Disabled as a pan-impairment term to include Deaf, Disabled, Neurodivergent, Visually Impaired people, people with long-term health conditions, and/or with mental health conditions. We use the word ‘leader’ in an open way, valuing different styles and approaches to leadership.
You will work with Drake Music for a 2-year period while we review and develop our strategy, organisational structure and practice. Key to this role is the ability to translate strategy into operational plans and delivery. You will lead on the growth and development of the team, whilst embedding strong and creative performance management.
We are looking for someone who has:
- lived experience of disability and a strong commitment to the Social Model of Disability 7.
- a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- confidence in creating an environment in which people can be their best –demonstrating openness, collaborative and inclusive ways of working.
- experience of managing and developing people, including performance management, team development, coaching and planning.
- a range of operational management experience, including setting up and managing systems and projects.
