Join the National Youth Folk Ensemble artistic team for a free online CPD session for music teachers.

Folk artist-educators Sam Partridge, Miranda Rutter and Rob Harbron will share strategies for teaching folk tunes and folk-specific techniques in an engaging and musical way. The session will include approaches to teaching tunes by ear, ideas for exploring creativity, and tips on supporting young musicians to develop their folk music skills and playing.

This session is aimed at music educators and folk musicians working with, or aspiring to work with, young instrumentalists of secondary school age in formal or informal education settings.

PLEASE NOTE there are two time slots – 1.30 to 3pm and 6 to 7.30pm. Please tick your preferred slot when filling in your attendance form.
