This practical session will explore the many ways music can be weaved through EYFS settings and classrooms from 1:1 interactions and setting up an inspiring environment to creating a group time which is fun, focussed and child led. As well as some practical activities for short and long term planning, leaders Azra Nath (EYFS lead) and Penny Osmond (musician) will also discuss how best to work in collaboration with staff and children, to nurture a lasting musicality in the setting.
The session will run from 4-6pm on Zoom.
