Following feedback from TTCM 2019, this symposium will delve into and explore three themes that came out of last year's Open Space sessions:
- What are the essential and desirable skills required by a Community Musician (Community Music Standards)
- Within training, what is the balance between training the person and training the musician?
- What is the Community Musician's Duty of Care; to self and others?
The 2019 symposium used Open Space facilitation to allow the emergence of themes in this area. TTCM 2020 will continue in this spirit, using Open Space alongside more traditional symposium methods including panel discussions and provocations
A two day event, TTCM 2020 is hosted by Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance at the award-winning Laban building in Deptford, London.
