The Teaching Musician: A postgraduate professional development programme for music educators
Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma and Master of Arts Degree

The Teaching Musician is a flexible and vocational programme run by Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and designed for experienced music educators. It offers a high quality professional development opportunity, leading to a suite of postgraduate qualifications, whilst being flexible to fit around your working life.

From instrumental/vocal teachers to ensemble leaders, animateurs and community musicians, The Teaching Musician provides opportunities to reflect and engage with current theory and research in music education, whilst developing your practice within a diverse community of like-minded individuals.

Led by expert practitioners, learning takes place through face-to-face training held during school holidays, online discussion forums, 1-1 supervision and a work placement.

Important dates:
The Teaching Musician starts Feb 2018.
Applications via UCAS Conservatoires open from late July 2017, and close on 30 November 2017.
