Join us for this special half day event where we'll discuss the needs of women of colour in the music industry in Yorkshire. If you're interested in music and the music industry you are welcome to join us. Please note: This session is for people who identify as women only and is aimed at women of colour.
At this session there will be space to discuss:
- Fears and struggles, in a non-judgemental way
- The needs of women of colour in the industry and where we fit
- Cultural appropriation - what does this mean to us as people with a dual heritage or identity?
- Intersectionality and representation
- Where to find practical and emotional support
