Soundabout Choirs are musical communities without barriers for people all ages and all abilities, with a focus on giving a voice to Learning Disabled people with complex support needs.

In this online training, experienced Soundabout practitioner Emma Hughes takes you through the process of running an inclusive, accessible choir. The tools and techniques passed on will be invaluable to anyone who runs a choir or music group, or who works with Learning Disabled people.

Session 1: Monday 30th October, 17:30 - 19:00
In the first session, Emma explores what we mean by the term 'choir' and the founding principles of a Soundabout Choir.

Session 2: Monday 6th November, 17:30 - 19:00
In the second session, Emma dives into specific tools and techniques to use in your own choir, and takes you through the invalubale resources in the Soundabout Choir Hub.

To make the most of the training, you are strongly encouraged to attend both training sessions. Both sessions will be recorded and sent to training participants after the event.
