This session invites discussion and sharing with the provocation question:

How does community music practice foster very young children's agency / autonomy / 'voice'?

People under three (and some other humans) express themselves in many ways which do not rely on words. In this gathering we’ll share ideas and discuss the ways that music practice can open possibilities for very young children to express their choices and ideas. Join us to discuss the sorts of musical activities that you have found that rely on young children’s agency and autonomy.
