Singing Mamas Choir Leader Training
11 November 2022 - 13 November 2022
A training course comprised of online sessions and a residential singing retreat to equip you with the skills, knowledge and techniques to lead choirs for improved maternal health

Singing Mamas is a national non-profit working across the UK - a movement made up of nurses, doctors, midwives, musicians, teachers and community workers who are all committed to improving the wellbeing of women through singing and song sharing.

This training course offers the space and support to find your authentic voice and unlock your potential to lead other women towards better wellbeing.

Part one – Online
From the convenience of your own home, come together with other women over four evenings of live sessions. You will sing, share your story, make connections, have thought provoking discussions, and learn the practical steps to facilitate Group Singing sessions.

Part two – Retreat
Immerse yourself in song over a 3-day weekend of nourishing food and great company set in a beautiful location. You’ll leave bursting with new songs to chair and having experienced leading and taking part in the Singing Mamas approach.

Part three – One to one
Brush up on some of the theory behind the practice in online tutorials and put together your individual development plan with the support of a mentor and the wider network.

The course includes 4x consecutive evening Zoom sessions leading up to a three-day residential training on 11-13 November.

Cost: £525 which includes all training materials and resources, training, accommodation at Lower Shaw Farm (Swindon) and meals.
