Regenerate: Cultural Policy – what next?
30 September 2022
Join Orchestras Live for its first online event in a series of three conversations exploring new ideas that challenge the orchestral music sector’s thinking and help create positive change for the communities it engages with

This online event will involve panelist discussions exploring questions like:

  • What the continuing political and economic uncertainty means for our sector and our social impact?
  • How can music/orchestras be at the forefront of helping communities to level up in the post-COVID-19 environment?
  • How can the orchestral sector work with the wider cultural community to influence policy at the highest level?

Panelists include:

  • Carol Leeming, multi-award winning multi-disciplinary artist and Director and lead artist of Dare to Diva
  • John McMahon, Head of Education at the Royal Society of Arts
  • Caroline McCormick, Founder and Director of creative agency, Achates

The session will include breakout rooms giving attendees the opportunity to discuss the key ideas and themes posed by the panellists, and to consider what collective action can be taken with other audience members.

The event runs from 10-11.30am. It is free to attend and registering is essential.
