We will explore some of the key issues that our clients and profession faces and will workshop best practice scenarios.

Topics covered will include:

• Defining race and racism
• Race issues in music therapy
• Supporting clients in their experiences of racism and associated trauma
• Introduction to anti-racist and culturally affirming practices
• Practical workshopping of best practices

This training includes challenging content and will be facilitated sensitively to ensure the learning and well-being of everyone present.
