Pythagoras' Workshops Toolkit is a free music education resource, which has been developed in collaboration between industry professionals, University of Southampton and Dotted Line Theatre.
'Targeted towards children aged 7-11, this innovative resource encompasses two main topics – graphic scores and conducting – explored through music, sound-making, drawing, and puppetry activities. The toolkit includes a wide range of teaching and workshop activities for use independently or alongside specifically designed videos, in line with the key stage 2 curriculum. Designed with both community and classroom settings in mind, the resource can be used flexibly, from one-off workshops to six-week blocks.'
Our online CPD Gathering will begin at 7pm and run for around one hour. Afterwards, we'll keep the Zoom room open until 8.30pm for anyone who'd like to stay and chat, connect with colleagues, or continue the conversation informally.
Everyone with an interest in community music is welcome to attend this friendly and relaxed online meet-up. Email gathering@soundsense.org for more information and joining details.
We look forward to seeing you there!
