This short course will give you some ideas, suggestions and strategies to write your own grants as well as how to evaluate your project. Vital skills for any community artist

Contented Music Club hosts this practical training session on fundraising for community projects on zoom from 10am-12pm.

 

About the trainers:

Dr. Amy Mallett is a composer and interdisciplinary artist whose creative practice has been supported by a series of successful grants and awards from organisations from public, charitable and private sectors. As a creative health professional and researcher Amy has specialised in developing and applying innovative and inclusive approaches to the evaluation of participatory arts projects. She is a seasoned workshop facilitator having developed and delivered a range of practical and knowledge sharing sessions for NPO’s including Snape Maltings, DanceEast, English National Ballet and Pacitti Company, and many other corporate/public sector organisations.

 

Nicola Wydenbach is a singer, vocal coach and producer who has been successful at obtaining grants from local and national organisations across all sectors to support this work. She has also set up her own charity as well as currently running her own CIC.
