From intention to impact, and the skills required
20 September 2021 - 21 September 2021
Join the TTCM team online for this interactive event exploring essential and desirable skills for community musicians

As part of Sound Sense's Training the Community Musician (TTCM) programme, we invite you to join us in the conversation around the who/what/where/when/why of training community musicians.

Hosted by Jess Abrams (music practitioner and Sound Sense Chair) and Chris Gray (University of Aberdeen), we'll be sharing findings from the two previous TTCM symposiums in Aberdeen and London as a jumping off point for discussion and debate.

We want to explore what you agree/disagree with in these findings; how they relate to your experiences of community music training; and what you would like to focus on in the discussions going forwards. Your input will shape our next TTCM symposium at Bristol Beacon in February 2022 and inform Sound Sense's continuing work supporting high quality professional development for community musicians.

Note the same event will be held on both dates, to enable as many as possible to take part. All those involved in delivering professional development for community musicians in any setting (non-formal, informal, formal) are welcome to attend.

Free to attend, book online at:
