Connecting Threads - Early years sharing practice
25 February 2021
Early years practitioners are welcome to attend this national networking event that will explore project working; its successes, challenges, impact & potential

Connecting Threads is a network for Early Years and Music Practitioners in the North West of England.

Come and hear about two Youth Music funded early years projects that have been taking place in the North West, and bring your own ideas to a discussion about the potential for collaborative work & how we can make this happen.

The session will include presentations from:

  • Cate Madden and Susie Jones (Edsential CIC) who will be sharing the outcomes of their Youth Music funded project, Leaps and Bounds: delivered over three years in areas of high economic deprivation, providing a range of creative music-making activities to support positive social and musical outcomes.
  • The Bureau Centre for the Arts presenting on its Shared Sounds project, run by  in Blackburn delivered in partnership with Note Weavers.

Following on from these presentations we will discuss aspects relating to the development of future projects such as effective design, outcomes & impact, & collaborative partnership working.

>> This event is free to attend and runs from 7.00 - 8.30pm GMT.
