The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework covers the standards that schools and childcare providers must meet for the learning, development and care of children from birth to 5. This session will help anyone who’d like to know more about the early years context and will cover:

• The Four Principles of the EYFS
• The Prime and Specific areas of Learning
• The Characteristics of Effective Teaching and Learning
• Importance of play in the early years
• Observation, interaction and the role of the adult
• How music can be integrated into the life in an early years setting

Cost to individuals £25 / organisations £35 (limited number of bursaries available).
