This training day will explore concepts, exercises and games developed by John Stevens, which will give people with a wide range of musical abilities the chance to ‘play with music’.

The day is open to musicians who want to develop new compositions from improvisations, community music practitioners or teachers facilitating music with young children.

Rob Smith is a composer, performer and improviser. He has been involved in Community Music since moving to Cardiff and trained with John Stevens. Rob has composed scores for films, television and theatre. He also composes and performs jazz and runs a community big band Wonderbrass.

This event is FREE to attend and runs from 10am-4pm.
