This event is delivered by Lesley Wood of Ubiquitous Arts across two evenings:
Tuesday 20 and Thursday 22 April, 6-8pm.
This course will help you to interact with people in ways that can promote positive behaviours, and explore the dynamic that you bring to the relationship.
It will help you to identify your own default approaches and assess how useful they are in your interactions with others.
You will also be introduced to techniques that promote positive interactions and explore how you can embed them in your own practice.
Through this course, you will gain:
- An understanding of behavioural issues, possible causes and ways in which we can respond
- An understanding of the role of the facilitator in impacting behaviour
- Access to a supportive environment to share concerns and help you overcome challenges in facilitation
- Strategies to use in your own work that can transform challenging behaviour into positive outcomes
Course cost is £10 (please get in touch if the course presents a barrier to you attending).
