Summary:
From Sound Sense member Rod Paton, Lifemusic training will provide you with a unique set of workshop skills for using participatory music in all kinds of settings

Region:
South East England
Start Date:
15 Sep 2012

Lifemusic is an accessible and creative form of music making which is designed to promote well-being, enhance relationships, enrich lives and strengthen communities. It can be used by both musically trained and untrained individuals. Recent projects include families and children, self-selected community groups, team-building with busy people, mental health and neurodisability rehabilitation, older people and younger people, asylum seekers and the international community.

Lifemusic training skills can be integrated within your existing practice or work, for the benefit of those you specialise in working with. The training may also offer you the skills to develop new relationships with new sets of clients. Lifemusic courses have previously been taken by teachers, community musicians, music therapists, support workers, occupational therapists, singers, play workers and even company directors.

Six days’ training: 15 September; 13, 14 October; 10, 11 November; 8 December. £295
