Qualified Music Educator qualification *Closes 5 December

Summary:
Sound Sense is on the working group developing a new qualification for community musicians. And now you can have your say

The QME - a recommendation from the Henley review - is billled as being "a nationally available, accredited vocational qualification which will ‘qualify’ individuals to work as music educators with children and young people, in and out of a school setting." It should be available in 2013. There's been a round of public consultation meetings, attended by a number of Sound Sense members, but if you missed those you can take part in the online survey: W: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/QDG3GMP

The survey's open to 5 December, and the working group next meets on 11 December where we'll consider all your views.
