Highlights include Helping Young Talent Pioneer New Music, through the Young Composers and Foyle Future Firsts schemes. Phil Mullen has been visiting secondary schools in Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham to advertise The Band project and to recruit new members. And workshop leader Fraser Trainer and three players from the orchestra visited the Jewish Free School in Harrow to help students in their studies of minimalist music.
