The Britten–Pears Foundation helps to promote the development of music. Grants are awarded to performing groups and concert promoters for live performances, commissions and recordings. Funding for new commissions is focussed on less well-known or young composers. Musical education projects are also eligible for funding. Applications are accepted from registered charities or organisations and individuals whose aims are charitable. Deadline for applications is 6 March.
